Connecting Knowledge: Health, Education and Civil Society

2009 - PDF - Retreat Report - The meeting explored the interconnection between education and health and the important role civil society plays in building strong communities.  

An overview of the economic crisis and its potential impact on Africa helped to set the context for the discussions that followed over the next two days. The sessions organized by members provided an exciting mix of topics and formats. Participants had lots of choices, from a workshop on charting funders working in French-speaking countries to a panel on funding advocacy and a presentation on the lessons learned from a funding collaborative.
